Appliance Repair TechnicianKen's Appliance Service is seeking skilled and experienced appliance repair technicians to join our growing company. Must be able to diagnose and repair appliances. Experienced in reading and understanding schematics and wiring diagrams. Excellent customer service and problem solving skills is a must. Able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Able to lift/move most common appliances. Remain responsible for paperwork and payments handled/collected. Professional appearance. Computer literate. Ability to read, write and understand English. Communicate concisely and effectively. Excellent organizational skills. Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must have a valid Drivers License and a clean driving record. Must agree to follow procedures and abide by policies set forth by Ken's Appliance Service. Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Compensation: $17.00 - $21.00 per hourAs an appliance repair technician, you'll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you'll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.You'll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you'll have to deal with people, too.Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.Are you prepared to start your journey toward becoming an appliance technician?
