Lumark Technologies, Inc. ( founded in 1999, is a mature small business that provides services to Defense, Federal and Commercial clients. Lumark is exploring opportunities requiring Power BI and Tableau Developers to support our Clients in Military and Federal Civilian environments. We have an ongoing need for professionals with expertise in Data Analytics and Visualization for both immediate openings and contingent opportunities at Lumark.

Ideal candidates will be mid-to-senior level professionals with extensive expertise in utilizing Power BI and Tableau to build dashboards in support of client mission areas. Candidates must hold requisite clearances – at minimum DoD SECRET , a bachelor’s degree in a business, engineering, or IT discipline, relevant certifications, and excellent written and interpersonal skills.

Duties

• Work across and facilitate discussions with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and organize requirements.
• Work with clients to understand their mission requirements and champion solutions to best support their needs.
• Translate requirements into Power BI, Tableau, and other system solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Mine, clean, and organize data from multiple sources consisting of small and large datasets and process through new and existing workflows.
• Validate data accuracy, calculate metrics, and conduct troubleshooting and unit testing.
• Provide user training and support for new tools.
• Document processes and formalize into Standard Operating Procedures as needed.
• Support clients as representatives of Lumark demonstrating professional capability in communications, technical expertise, and quality support.
• Utilize excellent time management and self-discipline techniques to deliver solutions on a timely basis while working both independently and as a team.
• Provide other support as needed.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Must hold a bachelor's degree in a business, engineering, or computer/IT discipline.
• Must hold at least 4 years of relevant data analytics experience including the development of dashboards.
• Must currently hold or have recently held a DoD SECRET clearance or higher.
• Must live in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area and be willing to commute to our corporate headquarters in Fairfax, VA.
• Must hold professional experience utilizing Power BI and/or Tableau.
• CompTIA Security+ CE preferred.
