As a Security Officer Unarmed Tablet Patrol in Cheyney, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a higher education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will communicate professionally, document observations using computer or tablet tools, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, student concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking lots, walkways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe individuals entering and leaving assigned areas, reporting suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and daily observations while maintaining a professional presence in an educational environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
