Hello and welcome! My name is Penney Kols, a graphic designer based in St. Louis, Missouri. With a strong history of professional design experience, I can help you accomplish your business goals through effective design and visual communication.
What gives me an edge as a designer is my instinctive understanding of meaningful visual communication, storytelling and branding in print and digital formats. I am able to get to the heart of your brand and communicate it in a visual way that resonates with your customers. I learn who your target audience is, and create designs that speak to your clients.
I have been head of an in-house graphics department for an international auction house overseeing design, copy, and production of all aspects of marketing and advertising. I started in the printing industry learning the basics of paste-up and logo design. From there, I was employed by a wholesale travel company using my graphic skills, and finally working my way up to Marketing Manager.
Many of my skills have been self-taught, with classes reinforcing my skills in digital design, eCommerce and email marketing. Nothing has ever stood in my way to learning new skills and technologies.
